He’s a former Legislative Committee member and certified business consultant for SCORE, a former associate member of the Kentucky Broadcasters Association (KBA), and member of Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) and member of the National Association of Black Journalist. He has worked with both Oscar and Grammy nominees to tell their stories and help develop their business goals.

He has coordinated media events for the Olympics and the National Football League (NFL), served as Public Affairs Specialist / Journalist for the Department of Defense and the Pentagon and is former Marketing Director / Coordinator for the United States Tennis Association (USTA Kentucky). He is also the former executive producer /director / writer and host of the National Black Business Report public affairs program, which broadcast to some 14 million households via PBS and cable stations in the U.S. and Caribbean.
An advocate of educational, community and civic issues, Addison, a former Department of the Army Excellence Award winner and Community Service Award winner, founded the Not-for-Profit “Positive Images That Invoke Self-Esteem Institute (P.I.T.I.S.E.) which focused on the messages used in the media targeting youth. In addition, the program enhanced language arts, reading and writing skills.
Launched at Bellarmine University in 1991 P.I.T.I.S.E. has assisted thousands of at-risk youth and their families across America. P.I.T.I.S.E. programs have been implemented in Public Schools, Charter Schools, Family Resource Centers, Youth Centers, Department of Housing Urban Development Resource Centers and the Department of Defense. Addison has appeared on national, regional and local news shows and has been recognized by former First Lady Michelle Obama, The U.S. Department of Justice, and The Commonwealth of Virginia Attorney General’s Office, parents, Educators, government agencies, universities and others.
Today, Addison mentors and coaches entrepreneurs while continuing his legacy and commitment to community service excellence.
